Common Questions

  • Yes. We offer private transportation across Cape Breton for a variety of occasions including private airstrip pickups, restaurant transportation, distillery visits, weddings, Celtic Colours events, and more.

Please contact us directly to inquire about availability and pricing.

  • Yes, but only one of our tours includes pickup directly from the Sydney Cruise Terminal. That tour is our Private Jeep Cruise Excursion from Port.

All other tours depart from our base location in Margaree. If you are arriving by cruise ship and would like pickup directly from the port, please book the Private Jeep Cruise Excursion from Port.

Cruise guests are some of our most common visitors, and routes are carefully planned to ensure you return well before your ship’s departure time. If your ship’s schedule changes, we will always do our best to work with you.

  • Absolutely. While many visitors drive the Cabot Trail on their own, our tours take you beyond the main highway to hidden backroads, viewpoints, historic farms, and scenic locations most travelers never discover. Along the way your guide shares local history, stories, insight into the area, and much more.

  • Yes. We make frequent stops for views, photos, short walks, and points of interest. The pace is relaxed and we can adjust based on your preferences.

  • We recommend bringing a camera or phone for photos, some water, comfortable footwear, and a light jacket, as Cape Breton weather can change quickly.

  • Cape Breton weather can change quickly, but tours run in most conditions. Fog rolling through the mountains, coastal mist, and dramatic skies can actually make for some of the most memorable scenery and photos. Our Jeeps provide protection from the elements, and the soft-top roof can be removed on nicer days.

  • Most of our tours involve very little walking, making them accessible for many guests. Some optional stops may include short walks or light trails, but these are completely optional. We are also able to customize some adventures for guests who would like longer walks or hikes.

  • We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour for a full refund. If your cruise ship schedule changes or prevents you from making your tour, we will always do our best to work with you as we understand things can happen that are far beyond your control.

  • Each Jeep can accommodate up to 4 guests. When scheduling allows, we can run two Jeeps and accommodate groups of up to 8 people.

  • We suggest using the restroom before arriving as we do not have facilities at our pickup location. However, we are located directly across the street from a café that is typically open and allows guests to use their washrooms. During the tour we can usually stop along the route if needed.

  • All of our tours are private experiences, meaning your group will have the Jeep and guide to yourselves. This allows us to customize the pace, stops, and route based on your interests.
